Tranquil an stunning
Great place for a walkers, runners, young and older. You can enjoy the silent walking along the lake. Outside the city, rural area with the two towers gates.
Loch scene was great. We went canoeing, lovely water. Although please walk to the designated launch site, as everywhere else on the outskirts of the lake is frothy and smells atrocious, lots of dog walkers, water isn't deep until you get to the random wooden square with a chair on it in the middle of the loch.
Nice place to visit
I got to the loch in the winter time early in the morning to watch the 10s of thousands of fees that rest there great to see them all leave at the same time the noise is incredible also great going there just before the dark when the gees come in to roost also great to see all the swans and other wild life.
