Nice pub. Friendly, decent selection of beers and lagers, though not on real ale side. Pleasant atmosphere.
Pre-ordered for a work lunch for about 20 people. Despite that still took an hour for starters to arrive (for the few that had) and a couple of main courses only arrived after 2 hrs there, and way after most people had finished. Also heard them apologising to another table of 4 as we left.To be fair the food was ok but unlikely we'll be back, shame really as there isn't much else locally.
Very very slow , the venue was not busy , the kitchen needs to get rid of the staff , there was 5 of us and they got part of our order wrong as my son said we could have driven to Dundee between our starter and our main , the shame is people that waited on us were not to blame ,If we get shoddy service we just don't darken their doors again , management needs to get rid of the dead wood or the doors will be closed for good very soon .....
Lovely Xmas menu the beef was excellent as was the service.
